What makes you click on a thread?

For example i know probably more people than average clicked on this thread because it's quirky and weird..

If i see a thread title like "Bush sucks ass" or "Naruto FTW" im very unlikely to click on it 

..if a title is something dumb like "omfg guys check this walrus with a bucket lol" i might actually check it out ...cos i come here for the laughs not for serious discussion

So what decides if you click on a thread??? 

The title has to hook me in to click on like If I don't know what it meens then I click on it to find out more about and this happend to be one of them

I click them all, save religion threads.

"Hmm, I wonder what people have to say about this matter..."  That's usually the reason.  That's why I clicked this thread

Yeah..but what about the titles attract you? 

I click a thread to make sure it isn't violating the ToU, answer a question that I know the answer to, to point someone in the right direction, anything that may interest me, etc. I guess it all depends on the "wording" for me. I "cooliris" it first to find out if I need to even click on it though.Dracula68

Damn. The only reason I clicked on this thread was because I saw the GS logo and wanted to see what an admin had to say. :P

Examples of threads I WON'T click are :

"READ THIS....!!! I WON'T TELL YOU WHY, CLICK AND SEE."
"Today something happened..."
"My friend told me this"
"Should I?"
"Your opinion ?"
etc.

Most of these threads are a waste of time.

A good book needs a good title. "The Fluffy Pink Rabbit" Wouldn't get many people interested, but "How the fluffy pink rabbit turned orange" Would.

The same goes for topic titles.

I click on a thread only if the topic is clear and looks interesting.
