20 years old, 170, and i can press 110 pounds. My goal is to actually bench my own weight but what do you think of 110? i can do about 4 reps and like 3,4 sets of that.

I'm around 200lbs and can bench press about my weight, but not if I haven't worked out in a month or so.

My name is Damon

*appropriately positive but meekly delivered salutations*

I'm 45, I weigh 175 and the last time I did some bench pressing I hit 200lbs although that was sometime in the '90s.

I'm a Scorpio born in the Year of the Dragon.

I like silent movies and films from the '30s.

I don't like to dance but I have a passion for the arts and a keen sense of aesthetics.

My cat has cancer.

20 5'5 165lbs and high bench I did was 190, but I do between 165-175. I can definitely work my way past 190. I was using my schools gym and when I finally hit 190 the semester ended and my schools gym is only open during the semester. So during the break I got lazy and went back down to 165.

Pullups are definitely easier than bench pressing your body weight. I think 75% of your body weight is a good estimate for someone who doesn't work out too much?

Pull ups work out different muscles though. When I could bench 275 which was 40 over my weight i could only do maybe 3 pull ups. Now dips on the other hand work out the same muscles pretty much as bench press. It all depends on how you work out, but 11 pull ups is a heck of a lot more than i could ever do lol.

I'm 25. I weigh 205 pounds now. I'm working on cutting down my body weight to 175-180 and I can bench press 300.. currently.. but it's not my life time best. I just got back into lifting about 4 months ago. My life time best was was 330 pounds at 198 two years ago. Raw . I'm not too worried about top end strength though. My focus is having a good base strength then working on getting good reps at 225. It's important that you indicate raw too because some people use a bench suit and count that for their maxes.

So raw means... naked (in terms of extra equipment) what the heck is a bench suit? something that helps you use chest muscles or something?

It depends.. Raw means you aren't using any type of equipment to help you lift more weight. A bench suite.. is like stuffing your body into a really really tight rubber suit that helps you spring the weight back up. And is often used in power lifting competitions.. depending on the league rules.
