32" Samsung LED

32" Sharp, 720p. It's served me pretty well. Only 1 of the HDMI inputs works, but I plug all my stuff into my stereo receiver and then run a single HDMI cable to the TV, so that doesn't create a problem. Picture quality is fine I guess, I dunno. I never did any side-by-side comparisons or anything.
I might get another HDTV this summer now that the prices have come down so much. Maybe a bigger one this time.
[QUOTE="Blue_Shield"]To be fair, how many HD CRTs are still out there in the wild?Well anyone that took care of theirs, fairly sure they would be a fair few, my CRT is still fine.I am there are a few, but I am talking in general.Hell, CRTs are not even sold in stores anymore.GTR12
Your average person on the street probably does not even known there is a such thing as a HD CRT.
To them:
Fat TV = SD
Thin TV = HD
[QUOTE="hippiesanta"]never hear of dynexBPoole96
Dynex is Best Buy's brand of TVs/Electronics along with Insignia.
I was once told that they were also the previous years LG models that Best Buy buys when outdated. Haven't checked myself though, but it sounded believable lol[QUOTE="BPoole96"][QUOTE="hippiesanta"]never hear of dynexZumaJones07

I was once told that they were also the previous years LG models that Best Buy buys when outdated. Haven't checked myself though, but it sounded believable lolInsignia TVs use rejected panels from LG. Rejected panels are panels that didn't pass their quality control tests and don't meet their standards. Dynex uses rejected panels from all sorts of places-especially LG and Samsung. So don't assume that an Insignia TV is going to be just as good as an LG for half the cost. Not only that, but their image processors and engines aren't as good. An LG with an IPS panel and an Insignia with the exact same panel will look quite different.
