What internet fads do you hate?

I hate that statistic that is oftenly found in many user's signature that says something along the lines of...

"98% of teenagers smoke.  If you're one of the 2% who don't, copy and paste this into your sig."

Generally, if a fad is restricted to the internet, it's terrible.

- Over use of Internet slang (simplistic type), for example:

I think I may have started this. The thing is, is that someone had a post about how they don't smoke pot and I thought it was very lame, so I decided to make fun of it. Later on, I started seeing other posts that made fun of it. So...I think I may have started that on this board. This is the only board I've seen it on. Honestly, I don't recall seeing any other joke signatures like that until I started making fun of it. Maybe the original signature was a joke to begin with? I don't know.

The "stupid typing" trend is one of these internet fads I dislike. It's absolutely meaningless and any idiot can use it to try to "discredit" someone else's argument. I'll demonstrate: "Omg!!! Stop th3 Godles!!! TERROristzz!! DEy Must BE stopp3ddd!! to protect Americazz!!!! god blez bussshh!!!!" By the way, I'm not calling ElZilcho90 an idiot. I'm just showing that purposely typing like this is useless and doesn't refute anything.

it seems to be a fad now about listing all the fads you hate. what a dumb waste of time. you don't like em? wonderful, move on with your life.

things that will always be listed in these threads: weeaboo faces, chuck norris, shoop da woop (well anything from 4chan), myspace(lawd knows **** sucks when friends try to network), etc. we get it, you don't like popular stuff. i used to agree with these threads, but they're becoming as annoying as the things you hate.

Uhh...I did make my signature similar to that. Exchange "Sex" with "Pot" and "Adult Population" with "Teenagers" & there you have it.
