The Silmarillion. I only have about 144 pages left to read. The way the wording is I don't like it it's like Shakespeare.

I tried reading it once. Though it was good, it didn't grab my attention the same way as The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings, or The Children of Hurin.

The newest book of The Wheel of Time series (Book 13) "Towers of Midnight" by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson.

It's moving a lot slower than I had anticipated. I'm hoping things will pick up soon.

Richard Feynman's "The Meaning of It All". Good, good stuff. And thank the heavens for winter break, and the free time it's given me to read at all. So many books in my literary backlog :?

I recently got The Millenium Trilogy in hardback. I'd already seen the films, and read The Girl Who Played With Fire prior to getting it, but I'm going through them again. I'm just about done with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.

Michel de Montaigne's "Friendship" Brian Greene's "Fabric of the Cosmos" Carl Sagan's "Contact" (read halfway but never finished) Robert Winder's "Bloody Foreigners" Judith Krantz's "Mistral's Daughter" Wole Soyinka's "Myth, Literature and the African World" to name a few... example of an unfortunate price paid for attending an IB school.

Recently I've read Night which was excellent and Slaughterhouse Five which is now one of my favorite books ever. I'm not reading anything now but I'll read Earth by Jon Stewart once my brother finishes it.

No-- I started from the begginning of the New Testament and intend to read the rest of the New Testament. The only book in the Old Testament that I've read is Genesis, so when I finish reading the New Testament I'll start reading the books of Moses (and eventually the rest of the Old Testament).

I've been rereading the Harry Potter series ever since the 7th movie came out. I also went to the library recently and checked out a few books, including Dune, a book on black holes, and a book on learning Norwegian. I'll start those soon. I'll have plenty of time now that I'll be snowed in until Monday or so. :P

I've actually been switching from book to book since I got my kindle. I finished "**** my Dad Says" in one sitting, then 36% of Under the Dome, 64% of The Lightning Thief, 10% of "The Year of Living Biblically", and 5% of "Are You There Vodka" before finally finishing both Under the Dome and The Lightning Thief a few days ago. Now I'm working my way through the other two:P

It's really good just like the other two and has a good gripping story line behind it all like before. I would of said that you was doing the right thing by reading the first 2 before it as characters are involved i.e. Bernie, but it also has some new characters in it. It well worth the read and is very enjoyable i must say.

Ball Four, hilarious book from a pitcher back in the 60's. Gives you insight into things some people may not have known about the game, but i wasn't so surprised to find. K2: Life and Death on the World's most dangerous mountain - This guy goes over several expeditions to K2 and tries to find out what went wrong. This other book about what happened to the signers of the Declaration of Independence. I think the reason i never got into reading is that i don't take interest in fiction for the most part.
