Usually get Chinese Salt N Pepper, sometimes beef in black-bean with peppers.
Although it never looks as good as the google pictures.

I usually go for Sesame Chicken or General Tso's Chicken. As far as Indian fare goes, I'm not terribly fond of it. It's good for me once in a blue moon.
I've given up on your general chinese food; it's usually too greasy, too salty, and it's all the same from restaurant to restaurant. I do like dim sum/dumplings, though. And I'd be willing to try out real Chinese food (as in, what they eat in China) if I get the chance.
I would usually order Mu Shu pork, chicken chow mein, potstickers, and wor won ton soup (love me some won ton soup!).
Indian food is still top-notch in my books, though you have to find a good place to really enjoy it. Unfortunately the one Indian place that kicks ass around here has since closed :(
I like a nice order of aromatic basmati rice, chicken tika masala, usually some sort of spicy curry with tofu, and naan.
I'm more about Thai and Vietnamese food, though; that stuff is delicious, clean, not too greasy (depends, though), and has great flavor combinations.
Chinese crispy pork and roast duck with boiled rice.
Don't really eat of Indian food. Been 3 years since I last had an Indian meal. Anyhow, I would order Chicken Tikka Masala.
I have never tried anything resembling chinese fast food. Not indian either.
I don't think TC means only fast food, restaurant quality food as well.
In that case... I've had Tikka Masala and a few other that are labeled as normal/traditional Indian food here.
As for Chinese. Can't remember what I've had. Shredded duck, is that Chinese?
Chinese/Indian....are they so similar to you that you felt the need to use a slash?
This is what I order from. If you want to list a bunch of other places knock yourself out and make a thread.
Probably done it because I kinda figured no one would give a shit as this thread is fluff, a time-killer and most of us are grown men.

I think he was confused by the way you presented it and thought that you were saying that they were the same type of food. Sounds like you just meant that they are two types of food that you frequently like to order.
What passes for Chinese food around here is gross. I've never tried anything Indian since there's no restaurants nearby and it's not high on the priority list on the rare time I do travel.
Current Indian flavours of the month:
Dopiaza (onion heavy)
Tamarind chicken / beef / whatever - anything heavy on the tamarind.
...and of course a mound of poppadoms
Chinese (or rather Western interpretations of Chinese): Lemon chicken, sweet & sour pork balls - all the guilt-ridden dirty stuff.

Yes, schu hit the nail on the head. I was thrown off by those being lumped together because to me they are so wildly different. You did nothing wrong, I was just curious.
OT: I love a spicy curry. Love me some pork lo mein with hot mustard and orange chicken, too.

Depends where you live (or travel to). Comparing the US and UK, Indian restaurants aren't so popular in the US, but they're hugely popular in the UK, where you find Indian curry shops on almost every street corner.
Chinese:
Gravy Chicken Egg Chowmein
Indian:
Butter Naan and Chicken Butter Masala
Roomali Roti and Rezala
Mutton Biryani
Paratha/Puri and Sabji,Dahi
Sada Dosa
