So what do you think about when you hear someone mention Margaret Thatcher, what's the first thought that comes to your mind?

Strong, powerful woman I heard about when I was younger and found out she had policies I would disagree with.
And naked. Thank you, effing Mike Meyers.
Awfall privitisation schemes of transport etc
General awful fiscal policy
Falklands War (The only just war Britians fought since WW2)
Poll tax riots.
Stood up to the IRA and let the scumbag Bobby Sands die which I give her full props for considering the ballbag was in prison for a bomb only 150m away from my house.
Overall I'l sing ding dong the witch is dead when she kicks the bucket tho.
I think of the Iron Lady, the woman who didn't back down to Argentenian aggression on the Falkland Islands (even though to some degree i sympathize to the history of land taken away from Argentina). She did what any reasonable leader of a country does, does not simply sit idley by as part of her territory was taken away from her.
I know her also as the woman who thumbed her nose at Communist USSR, visited the people in Poland who were working towards independence of that country. She broke the backs of the unions in the country (for both good and ill effects).
and i know by the end, her colleagues and allies turned abandoned her when it came time to dump her because she became unpopular.
Apart from that i do not know. I do applaud her for her reaction to the Falkland Island takeover, and her work against Communism.
But domestically i don't have a good fix on how British citizens view her.
Privatised services to safe money explain how her fiscal policy was awful we acted in self defence and the British government responded full force to the riots...unlike they do now stood up to a terrorist organisation Margaret Thatcher made ALOT of enemies when in power, and this is pretty evident of thatAwfall privitisation schemes of transport etc

A reason why British Industry is a shell of its former self and why we probably have even more problems now and another bunch of conservative t*ts in parliament who are inevitably going to cut and shake even more affecting my generation more than ever.
Its hard enough to get a job with decent qualifications but the torys always find some weird way to make the UK seem even more unappealing.
who are the 7 people that voted "worst prime minister in British history, rightwinger"
wtf?
1.Would you rather Labour were in power
2.This guy called Gordon Brown fvcked this country up beyond with excessive spending
3.Of course she's a rightwinger she's conservative
I know little about her, but I hear she was anti-socialism and against unions which sounds fine by me.
lol. Yeah, interesting how movies can affect what you think of when you hear a person's name, especially if that's how you first heard of that person. Heck, when I hear the name "Julia Roberts", I usually think of J. Jonah Jameson in the Spider-man movie (2002) saying "If I can get pictures of Julia Roberts in a thong I can certainly get pictures of this weirdo" (the weirdo of course is Spidey).Strong, powerful woman I heard about when I was younger and found out she had policies I would disagree with.
