what do you think of How I met your mother?

What do you think of this show. i tried getting into it, but for some reason I cant seem. I dont sense any chemistry between the characters, which is a shame because I like Neil patrick harris, and Jason Segel. A lot of the jokes seem really forced. Maybe I just need to get into it more, but so far its not great. Too hit and miss. Maybe laugh tracks just piss me off more than usual recently.

I have yet to see it. Perhaps I will rent the first episodes.dave123321

I've seen a few episodes, seems decent. Alyson Hannigan seems to play the same quirky character in everything I've seen her in though.

It's one of the couple shows I watch. It's tremendous.

seen every episode. i watch it for Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel. all the other characters are miserable and the actors who play robin and ted cant act worth a crap

but Barney is legen-and i hope you're not lactose intolerant-dary!

Because of that show the word "Awesome" is like the word "Amazing" it's overused. Plus I find the show a bit tiresome now and then.

Its ok, but nothing special

By my own principles, I despise the show. I don't need a show to tell me when something is funny by using laugh tracks. There are a few similar sitcoms out there right now that I enjoy that do have laugh tracks, like The Big Bang Theory from time to time, but I really feel removed whenever I hear prerecorded giggles :P. It's a cheap trick to make you think something is funnier than it really is.

I dont watch it episode by episode, just when I see it but I have to say they've all been pretty funny so far

Very funny show, but a redinkydonkyulus concept. Those kids are really going to just sit there and listen to their dad tell them a bunch of sleazy stories, not too mention how many stories he tells them, they going to be sitting there for years.
