I'm reading Fast Food Nation right now. I've wanted to read this book for the longest time. It's pretty good so far.

Ah contraire! I am underweight, therefore your argument has been rendered irrelevant.
On topic: Raising the Titanic by Clive Cussler.
Still reading all the same stuff (Mahabharata, Upanishads, Hindu Myths), I also started Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.
A Prayer For Owen Meany. :(bronxxbombersI'm guessing you aren't too happy with that book? [QUOTE="NoobisMaxcimus"]

I haven't read Cussler in a long time. I think the last one of his I read was Treasure or something. I should read him again some time. [QUOTE="Nagru"]Before this I read The Door to December by Dean Koontz, I/II
That is one of my favorite books of all time! :oPride and Prejudice, boring :(Toriko42There's a Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but it's not as exciting as you'd think. It needed more zombies.
Pride and Prejudice, boring :(Toriko42It's not as boring as some of her other books. Though she is one of the best writers I have ever read. She has almost a complete mastery of the language. In one of her stories there are ghosts (Or at least what are thought to be ghosts)

New Moon (second Twilight book) I'm dead serious. I like it so far since Edward is sooo dreamy. ;)
And Sin Tetas No Hay Paraiso (Without breasts, there is no paradise).

Perhaps that was your problem? I remember watching Much Ado About Nothing many many years ago and all I remember from that movie was the most awesoem pair of womanly chesticles I have ever seen. Now that I have read the book I can't seem to find th emovie anywhere but online :(
The Bourne Supremacy by Ludlum. I also just started my spiffy new edition of The Iliad - hardcover boxed set with The Odyssey, beautiful volumes, I'm very pleased with them. But they were pricy at $47. I went with the new **** translation. It was a toss up between Lattimore, Fitzgerald, and ****, but Lattimore was only available in paperback and I figured I could read Fitzgerald later in life. I decided to start with a beautiful translation that sacrifices some accuracy for readability. I'm also in the middle of The New Lifetime Reading Plan by Clifton Fadiman and John S. Major. I cannot recommend this book enough. Perfect for anyone who is passionate about books or wants an overview of the history of world literature and it's authors.
EDIT: What the heck Gamespot? Apparently Robert F-a-g-l-e-s is a swear word.

This book sounds great
You read fast, didn't you just have a thread like this just a few days ago :P. I read way too slow.AvistannI'm not much of a fast reader. I just end up devoting more of my free time to reading than I do with the other things. But yeah, the other one I had, the B is for Beer one, that book was incredibly short.

Hitman: My Real Life In The Cartoon of Wrestling I read a lot of pro wrestling autobiographies, but this one's easily the most...interesting. It's not made by WWE, so the author can say whatever he wants about the company, and trust me, that's a lot of stuff. He was screwed in his last match of the company, and his youngest brother was killed by making an entrance from the ceiling. Great book, but I haven't picked it up in weeks.Razor-LazorI saw that at the library. I want to read some autobiographies, so I think I'll keep that in mind.

Ah, I wish I was able to do that. Everytime I sit down to read I get distracted.
The Invisible Man by HG.wells:o smokingsbadPretty good book but I preferred War of the Worlds and the Time Machine.
Last Man Standing - David Baldacci
I finished reading The Whole Truth (I think that came out last year?) just a couple of weeks ago. Loved the whole conspiracy angle and writing so much I had to go to the library to find more of his work. This one here feels a bit like Tom Clancy, but compared to Rainbow Six, I think I prefer Baldacci's style and storytelling. Especially in The Whole Truth. Last Man Standing keeps getting better, and I'm only on page 121 :P
I read that in 8th grade. Great book. Hmm, I think I might read it again...Still reading all the same stuff (Mahabharata, Upanishads, Hindu Myths), I also started Brave New World by Aldous Huxley.

I read the Ender's series. Still think Ender's Game is by far the best. 1984 was good, you should read that. I need to start reading again, lol.I just finished Speaker for the Dead recently (sequal to Ender's Game). Right now I am debating about reading Xenocide (3rd book in the Ender series) or 1984. Still not sure which I will read next.

Duma Key by Stephen King. I've been reading it on and off for a while because the first half of the book was pretty boring, (classic King) but its starting to get really freaky so I'll probably finish it in the next couple of days. I still have The Stand lying around too, so I'll probably try to read that before school starts back up.
A Prayer For Owen Meany. :(bronxxbombers:( Remains my favorite by John Irving. Currently reading the Illuminatus! Trilogy, the Preacher trade paperbacks, and The Time Traveler's Wife.
