  1. Jurassic World - $43,800,000
  2. Inside Out - $30,105,000
  3. Terminator: Genisys - $28,700,000 [new release]
  4. Magic Mike XXL - $11,600,000 [new release]
  5. Ted 2 - $11,000,000
  6. Max - $6,610,000
  7. Spy - $5,500,000
  8. San Andreas - $3,030,000
  9. Me and Earl and the Dying Girl - $1,320,000
  10. Dope - $1,098,000

NOTE: Some reports that JW didn't make the number one spot so subject to change.

Well there it is, Genisys didn't put up any hype surrounding it's release and some say it looks like a flop but I'm sure international market will make up the difference for Genisys. I really didn't pay attention to Magic Mike XXL so can't tell you if that's a hit or miss. JW wins in it's 4th weekend and since Independence holiday [U.S holiday] was on a Saturday, I guess other people had better things to do then going to the movies.

July 3-5 weekend

Can't believe Ted 2 made any money.

Yikes, those numbers aren't pretty for Terminator. It looks to be doing slightly better in the foreign market so it'll likely make it's production budget back, but little more. If you count since Wed. it's made $44 million but it's still a sad showing.

@ferrari2001: Poor advertising really hurt Genisys, horrible reviews, and a PG-13 rating. Critics want a James Cameron Terminator, some of whom had grew up with the James Cameron Terminators, the first one was before my time but Judgment Day was around when I was 6 so I got into the series when I was 8 and love the first and second.

Jurassic World wasn't far ahead of the competition. It brought in 30.9.

And I still haven't seen Jurassic World.
