Of all the 21st Century world leaders, there's none more impressive, more intelligent, and move laudable than the Ruskie Vladimir Putin. During his first 8 years as President of Russia, incomes rose more than 250%, unemployment was cut in half, the economy grew every year, and Russia became an energy superpower all while he was riding horses shirtless and capturing tigers for wildlife preservation.

If the Dos Equis man was a real man, he would be Vladimir Putin. BTW, did you know Vladimir is a blackbelt in Judo and that many Russians claim that before Putin, orgasms did not exist? If Vlad is on #teamorgasm, why aren't you?

I like Putin. There's been too much of a push for human rights, transparency, human rights, etc. It's nice to see the old guard come back and curb stomp those ideals.

Can't believe what I just read. Putin is far from a great leader. I think people who have never been Russia or lived there always try to romanticize Putin as this strong bas ass leader, when in fact this dude is just bad. A good friend of mine is Russian. He tells me the bull crap that Putin has done and does to his own people. He treats minority groups like second class citizens. He doesn't use his country's wealth to fix his country. This situation in Ukraine is just an example of how narcissistic and corrupt this man is.

People need to do through research before call a leader great.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... the situation in Ukraine is entirely the United States fault, specifically John McCain's. Before the uprisings in February that god damn senile idiot drunk John McCain went over to Ukraine and said to the Ukrainians that their future lays in the EU and then this mad psychopath had the audacity to tell the Ukrainian people that he speaks on behalf of the American people. McCain started this whole mess! HE DOESN'T SPEAK FOR ME! THE MAN THAT KILLED 167 PEOPLE ON THE USS FORRESTAL IN THE 1967 FIRE THAT NEARLY SANK THE SHIP HAS NO RIGHT TO SAY THAT HE SPEAKS FOR ME! i was fully prepared to appreciate putin before i watched that video but now i need to appreciate the guy playing the keyboard. the only guy with bigger balls than putin is the guy who shows him up with sick keyboard playing. he probably had plutonium sneaked into his coffee the next morning, but he deserves a salute.

Putin is a badass. He really embodies leadership. You may not always agree with what he does, but he just doesn't give a **** and goes and does it anyway, and does it well.

I all honesty though, he is what Russia needed. After the cold war ended, Russia was in shambles. Putin took charge, with an iron fist at times, and rebuilt Russia into a power once again. If Russia had had some pussy politician only concerned with looking good in power they would never have overcome the chaos cause by the fall of the USSR.

YES! YES! YES! You understand how great he really is. While at times he probably doesn't like the things he has to do, he is wise enough to understand that they need to be done.

He most certainty is what Russia needed at that time and now as well, but he is also what the world needs now! A sensible leader not withered by the decay of the Western world!
