I apologize if this isn't the right forum.
I have a 1080p Samsung TV from 2009, the LE-40A558P3F to be exact. I'm wondering if it's time to update. I'll use the TV purely for video gaming. Smart TV features would be cool but not a reason for me to get a TV and 3D wouldn't really be used at all, although I know most newer TV's come with it now.
If I got a new TV, like the Samsung F6500, Sony W805 or w653 would I notice some improved picture, sound etc etc? As I don't want to buy a new TV to notice no difference.
My current TV has a bit of a blocky bezel by today's standards and a couple of extremely small, unnoticeable pressure marks but neither are enough to make me want a new TV based of purely these two things.
