Right now, story still in development, 19 children confirmed dead, several abductions, and confirmed bomb contains nails.

I'm not personally a fan of Ariana Grande, but I would NEVER attack her or her fans! This is pure sadistic and the terrorist that killed 19 innocent children put to Justice! My condolence to the families

Majority of attendees were young, 50 people injured confirmed, and there are abductions as well.

That is so wrong attacking a concert venue like that, it's going to be mostly young people, people just starting out their lives and wanting to have fun.

It's still early to cast blame, but I suppose we can make assumptions here that like all the other attacks who this was.

How dare people kill little girls that others are trying to rape in a grooming gang. It's outrageous.

Why don't we invade every unstable shit country in the middle east, leave and then nuke it?

Hell, the resulting glass would of more worth to the world then most of those places as nations.

While we don't know about the perpetrator yet, it's safe to assume that, being an Ariana Grande concert, most of the victims were teenage girls.

RIP to the 19 who lost their lives. And for those who are injured, get well soon.

Finally someone is talking a lick of sense. The victims should not have this thread hijacked by Islamophobia just because some loon who might not even be Muslim (Timothy McVeigh) decided to kill innocent people.

Hey. Since the investigation to this attack is still ongoing I suggest to be careful on what you share related to the attack. If you share something that looks credible from somewhere like CNN and other mainstream news sources go ahead and share it. Also please be considerate to the people affected by this attack.I hope everyone affected by this attack is doing okay.

Well, it was a likely suicide bombing according to NBC.

And suicide bombings are likely caused by Islam.

So...

islam is a religion of peace. indonesia has the highest muslim population on the planet but they're not going around blowing themselves up. this was an arab-terrorist who hid behind islam.

people are going to accused me of being racist towards arabs..first of all, you can't be racist towards arabs because they are historically an oppressive race

It's not my fault they have a pattern to blow themselves up. If you choose to be ignorant and ignore that pattern, that's your choice. It's a real issue that needs to be taken seriously.

Sadly, much of OT hates Ariana Grande and her fans. So the young victims are unlikely to get much sympathy from this board.

I know those terrorists are motivated by a hatred. But really, there are so many better things you could do with hate. We all hate something. I felt so much hatred at times that it physically hurt me. It doesn't make us blow people up, though. Cause we're not that weak.

My condolences to the innocent people involved. And strength to those injured. Muslims and Christians and this and that... you know, they were people like you and me trying to make something of life.

@Jebus213: so how does racism prevent terrorism?

The authoritarian right constantly go on about how liberals are weak against terrorism yet they never offer any solutions themselves. You're all just talk, using the deaths of dozens of people to fuel your selfish agenda

Salafi, Wahabbi, Sunni, Shia, Shiite, and militant groups like ISIS, Hezbollah, Hamas.... it's all very fractured thanks to Saudi Arabia and Israel.

When it comes to any of these groups, I align myself with Hezbollah and Shia Muslims for different political drives. Anything that kills ISIS is good in my book. Those people have no moral what-so-ever.

I had two friends who were there, they were on the other side of the arena so they made it home safe.

The city was in chaos for the night, I was in the area as I work near by.

Hotels were letting people in for the night, taxis turned meters off to take people home.

Anyway my heart goes out to the families of the victims

So at least it's good the scale of the attack was small compared to the people that were present there.

Still, how was someone able to smuggle in a bomb with rules being as strict as they are now? People get frisked before they enter a music event like this.

The Manchester arena had poor security.
