Just bought my first hdtv, an Emerson LCD. Picture looks great, but when I popped Skyrim in to play there is a noticeable blur whenever I move. Kind of makes me queasy after a short time. So can someone point me to a brand/type of tv that does better with this issue? I've been told by some Led's are better, and others say they are about the same. :/

I have Two Samsungs that I play my games on and, as far as I can tell, they have been performing flawlessly for over 2 and a half years. Ones LED and the other LCD.

What type, plasmas? If possible could you give a model number so I can do some research? :) It seems the blur lies with the hz's, my tv has 60 hz. So i'm guessing I need one with more to cut down on blur?

Panasonic st50. This years smallest model is 50in. If you need a smaller set you could search for an ST30 in the 42in size. The latter is the set I have. It's great. No complaints. I paid $730, I believe. Got a free 3d bd player and the avatar3d starter kit with it for free, and a tad of husseling. The one issue the set may have is a slightly louder than normal buzzing issue. I experienced this. One I first got the set it was silent, couple months later it started buzzing, but now I just moved and it is silent again--odd. My advice for tv shopping is to watch amazon. Manufactures often throw deals out there, which can be stacked on amazon sales.

Thanks for the advice, 32" is about my limit lol. Think i'll try the LED 120hz Samsung, the brand seems to have favorable reviews(though most dont address motion blur anyway). The smallest plasma I can find is like 40-42". Think that might be a little big in my small room.

32 inch is roughly 28in by 16in. 42 inch is roughly 37in by 21in. It isn't that much bigger area wise. Do some measurements. If I were you I'd consider it, as you'll get a much better tv in a plasma.

Um that's probably just the game, I've noticed when my brother plays Skyrim on 360, it's really blurry when you turn fast.
