3. Sounds Of The Underground (GWAR, Every TIme I Die, Chiamara, Darkest Hour, Job for a Cowboy, Goatwhore, The Devil Wears Prada and The Number Twelve Looks Like You) (july 06) Wasn't a great show, but gwar is awesome and the entire thing lasted about 10 hours so it was awesome.
1. Mars Volta
2. Rage against the Machine
3. tie between Muse and Metallica
I'm not a huge Muse fan but the are awesome live (Knights of Cydionia = greatest live song)
Radiohead-In Rainbows 08 at Lollapalooza :O
Red Hot Chili Peppers-Stadium Arcadium Tour: 2007. With two of my best ever friends as well :D
Foo Fighters-Whatever their latest album is tour 2008. I like em, but not that much. the concert was great though.
Prince-emancipation. Prince-standing room only. Prince-musicology. also Erykah Badu-mamas gun, and some Patti Labelle concert.TBoogyOK, I cannot name just three. I forgot The Time, Mos Def (at a cool spot next door to my apartment), The Fugees, Lauryn Hill (front row center) and Wyclef (under the st. louis Arch).
1. Children of Bodom concert (last friday night, it was freaking awesome), they were with The Black Dahlia Murder and 'Between the Buried and Me'.
2. Gigantour: Megadeth headlining, In Flames, Children of Bodom, High On Fire, and Job For a Cowboy. I was able to catch Megadeth's guitarist's guitar pick!
3. Dethtour: Dethklok headlining with Chiamara and Soylent Green. This one was very entertaining, highly anticipated.
Honorable mentions:
Offspring headlining with Pennywise

Black Label Society--06 Shot to Hell tour (Black Stone Cherry was awesome in support)

Dropkick Murphys/Mighty Mighty Bosstones--08 Minor League parks tour
1. Shinedown about a month ago
2. Three Days Grace about a year ago
And somewhere in those, Bullet For My Valentine, who I'm going to see tonight.
1. Summerslam Festival - Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Our Lady Peace, Catherine Wheel, Perfect Circle and Deftones, among others. Last show Smashing Pumpkins played in Vancouver with the original members.
2. Green Day. They played for over 2.5 hours, and at about the 90 minute mark started taking requests from the audience. Anything the band had ever recorded was fair game. And with their songs being under 3 minutes, that was a lot of music.
3. Tool, back when they were touring with the Lateralus album. They had a huge screen set up where they showed music videos, and they played most of their hits (nothing from Undertow, though).
I'm gonna give an honorable mention to Death From Above 1979 )because I just rememberd it). I saw them at a rec centre on Vancouver Island. About 500 people showed up, and instead of playing on the stage, they set up in the middle of the building, and had everyone gather around as close as they could. it was the most involved i'd ever felt in a show. and they performed "Black History Month" flawlessly.
