Wow apparently someone threw a shoe at Hillary Clinton.....recently......(didn't hit her and she made a ton of jokes about it)

What's up with this shoe throwing epidemic?

According to middle eastern culture throwing your shoe at another person is considered to be one of the highest forms of insult.

Came in to say this. It's kind of like giving the middle finger.

Wouldn't that be true of pretty much any culture? I know I'd be pretty insulted if someone threw a shoe at me. >_>

Seems to be a play out of the Bush legacy on Iraq... though from what I read the woman had papers on declassified State Department operations from Bolivia in 1967, maybe she wanted to bring attention to the issue by doing something outrageous, seems this is more directed at the State Department than against Hillary herself. But, I doubt anybody cares what her cause was, but Hillary getting a shoe chucked at her will probably be remembered for a good while.

I saw the video, and it looked like a blond-haired woman threw the shoe, so I don't think it has anything to do with Middle Eastern culture. Also, she did not dodge it. It just missed. She is no Bush.

see, that's why your culture sucks ass.

your biggest insult leaves you shoeless.

then the white devil you insulted has to give you foreign aid so you can buy new shoes.

that's why we can't take you seriously.

This. Anyone throws their shoe at me, I'll throw it back harder or dispose of it.

@CodingGenius: I am pretty sure its a way higher of an insult than throwing up a middle finger.

The shoe throwing is more of a statement of " I F*ckin hate you and I hope you,all your children, all members of your friends and family, and every person you breath on goes and rots in hell 1000 times over again"

Just a guess though.

@GamerForca: The shoe throwing did originate from Middle Eastern culture but it tends to mean have the same meaning throughout most cultures, even if it the levels of the effect are different to most victim.
