To get rid of oil. We actually need a good renewable resource.

When I was a kid, they told me we'd have all this cool stuff by the year 2000. Well, it's 2011. Where's my jetpack? Where's my hovercraft? And food was supposed to be just a pill by now.

Dear god please no. Those fake human dolls are creepy enough as is.

We'll never see cures for major diseases....the pharmaceutical industry would not allow that. If they did....the amount of money it would cost to be cured would be astronomical and only the rich would get it. I personally would like too see new technologies in cars that prevent cars from crashing into each other. Some guy on a commercial was blabbing about this being a possibility. Sounds pretty damn cool, but yet again, would probably only be in the top of the line cars so most people would still be involved in car collisions even if this technology came to be.

I'd also like to see someone create a contact lense that is used as a display screen. Imagine playing a video game where everywhere you look, your in the game. The lense would detect your eye movements so your not always looking dead center.
