The Official Surviving a Zombie Outbreak Thread

So what would you do during a zombie outbreak?

I would be screwed since I live in NYC, so I would be in zombie central.

What I would probably do is stealth-walk to my friend's house, and steal his Dad's guns while he isnt looking. I would then proceed to kill him and his family and steal their food too. At this point I would drive his Dad's SUV back to my house, stock up on my own food, and then head upstate. Once upstate, I would scout the area there for abandoned houses/outposts. If I am lucky enough to find one, I would hole myself up in there, and wait it out until I run out of food.

If I am fortunate enough to find an outpost with people already inside, I would introduce myself to them. If they haven't already killed me by then, I would make myself at home and start re-populating.

I'd go to EB Games and pick up all their games...without paying 8)NWA_31

Zombies are slow I can just walk

I'd probably camp-out on the roof of a supermarket with a 3day basic supply. That should give me enough time to come up with a good strategy to survive longer than the zombies.

My worst fear would be that the zombie oubreak was a varriation of rabies there for bats and other such infected animals would easily get me on the roof.

If at all possible, you should try to level the buildings in your immediate area, so you can get a better vantage point of whats going on.

I'm in the perfect place. There's a Cabela's a short distance from my home, so I could go there and pick up firearms and other weaponry, including food and other supplies, easily. I'd bring it back to my house, set up camp in my attic and wait it out. I live a short distance south from a major city (Austin), so the zombies would very likely bypass my home as they move towards the major population center.

I've put way too much thought into this.

Sadly, most of us would.

Find a huntingstore. Take guns, ammo, knifes etc. Steal a car, find an attractive woman for companionship/decoy then go out in the car to the countryside and wait for it all to blow over.Samwel_X
