The most 'evil' profession in this world?

What do you think is the most evil profession in this world and why?

Is being Kim Jong-Il a job? He's evil and crazy and thaat would seem a ull time job to me.

I was surprised that Abortion Clinic Doctor wasn't one of the options. (I'm not saying they are the most evil, but with some of the debates I've seen on this forum I thought for sure it would be one of the options).

Those people who handle insurance claims. Their whole entire job description is attempting to avoid having to give you services you have already paid for. And when they have no other choice but to cover something, they try to f*** you as much as possible by paying as little as they can.

when you say evil, do you mean you have to be evil to want to do it, or the definition of doing it is evil? Like, I'd say pulling the gas lever in a prison is an evil thing to do, but by the same token, it doesn't make someone evil for having that job...maybe I'm overthinking this.

Probably either mad scientist, supervillain, or evil genius (e.g. Lex Luthor). The three categories aren't mutually exclusive, and combinations of the three just make them more evil. :Pchessmaster1989

Evil is such a subjective term. None of these jobs you listed are evil, because you can be a good person with one of these jobs.

I never "bash" religion, my complaints against and objections to religion/religious issues are all grounded in objective claims.

There's a difference between a bad person and an evil person. A bad person does bad things (like stealing or lying or whatever). An Evil person, however, truly damages another person (like abusing a defensless child and ruining them for life kinda stuff).

I don't rightly believe in evil, but the way I see it at best pastors do nothing but leech, at worst they make life harder for everyone.

I don't really consider it a request when the person they're asking thinks they're serving a higher cause. Hey, could you come and do some things for us? You could say no, we're only representatives of the mighty creator who's going to give you eternal life, but you can say no to him if you REALLY think that's wise.

Giving our donations helps spread gods word, thats the way we look at it.

If i really wanted to play it that way, I could say that Atheists are depriving people of Future life in heaven (the worst act of all), are taking peoples money when they ask for contributions, (Which i've seen them do) only to push their own agendas and well being with it. Not to mention the objections I have to how the represent their cause, and the way they cry "Ignorance" and "disinformation by the church" whenever anyone brings up another opinion.

yes many idependant pastors do wrong, hateful, or bad things with their support, but Many represent legitimate organizations, such as the various churches. Any assumptions can be leveled in any direction towards anyone.

This isn't a religious thread though, and i have the feeling TC doesn't want us meassing it up though :P
