I am wondering the same thing.
I watched Xmen and Spiderman a lot. Mary Jane was put in another dimension by the Green Goblin and Venom and Carnage were too, Captain America and the Red Skull came out of their being trapped fighting each other in a dimension where time doesn't affect them so they didn't age but they were trapped again, and Spiderman teamed up with the Xmen for some battle on a chess board in space.
Spiderman Unlimited or something came on and no one watched it so they took it off after like a month of 4 episodes on Satudays.
I think my favorite Batman episode is when he fights some ninja without any weapons or a mask and cape in the middle of where lava is pouring right under them.
Superman was alright. Darkseid (spl?) and everyone.
I expected Captain Planet here as well. (lol at the kid who had the heart power)
Anyway, I always watched that Spider-Man cartoon.

You know, I used to watch Captain Planet all the time, but even then I knew he was a wuss bag. Just take a hamburger wrapper to his face, and he'd be down...
It's a pretty hard choice between X-Men and Spiderman, I used to be obssessed with both back in the day....
I think I'll go with X-Men just because it had a cooler theme song, but both programs were excellent.
All were good, but Xmen was the better, except for that dopey one where they were kids.

Heh, Xmen revolutions or something like that if I recall, was pretty horrible, but I think thankfully that was after the 90s I hope.
Xmen will always be my favorite comic, but for this I had to go with Batman, that show was great, from the beginning to Batman and Robin, to the new ones with Nightwing and Batgirl. My favorite episode had to be when the Mad Hatter had BatGirl in the dream where she died and Gordon went to war with Batman. Also the one with the villians playing cards called Almost Got Em was great too, that whole show was awesome, it just shows how bad that cartoons have become. Or maybe Im just old, who knows.
Batman the animated series is undoubtedly the best superhero cartoon of the 90's, maybe of all time. The mature writing was a first for cartoons at that time, it stayed very true to the batman mythos, and it had some excellent voice acting (Batman and The Joker most notably), as well as a great art style.
Whenever I think of that show I get nolstagic.
