Poll The Flash: what do you guys think (25 votes)

It's okay 16%
Liked it 56%
didn't like it 0%
didn't watch it 28%

So last night was the premiere of the show "The Flash". What did you guys think?

It reminded me a bit of the first Spider-man movie (specifically the narration at the beginning and end of the episode). Overall I liked it, but I wouldn't say it was great.

Yeah they need to act better and not have shallow villains. But other then that I liked it. Loved those easter eggs though.

Haven't watched it, been watching Gotham instead. Frankly I only have so much time so I probably won't watch this show.

A broken cage at Star Labs had the name Grodd on it.

As for the other villains, it seems like they already planted the seeds of why Caitlin Snow may end up turning into Killer Frost, with her fiance being killed and her career being derailed in the explosion that gave Barry his powers.

Like it, cannot expect too much from CW in terms of effects. Wish it and arrow were on cbs/fox/nbc or whatever but I think with what they got to work with it is solid.

It was good for a pilot, let's see where they go from here. And I'm really excited for the Arrow/Flash crossover, which is episode 8 btw.

I watched the pilot months ago and because I liked The Flash I started watching and went on a purge with Arrow. All this time I did not know Arrow was pretty good too. So now I enjoy both shows. Both are better than Marvel Agents of Shield in my opinion. Shield became stale to me until the Winter Soldier events affected the show but then after and onto the new season, it's still stale. I'll probably skip episodes again like I did with the first season until there's a cool cameo or event that comes again. With Arrow, we did not miss an episode. I think it'll be the same with The Flash. Last thing, it took me a minute but I started liking Gotham too when I started watching it like the Saturday morning animated series.

I just can't deal with TV acting anymore. It's soooo bad.

I love the flash but I can't watch this show.

It is decent. They can do so much with the Flash as long as they do not nerf him. He might even be in the Justice League film. The Flash is a founding member of that team, so it is possible.

I didn't notice the name Grodd, nor do I know the significance of it. I don't know who Killer Frost is. I'm not really too familiar with DC, I'm more familiar with Marvel, especially Spider-Man.

Grodd is one of the major supervillians in DC, better known as Gorilla Grodd. He was in the Justice League cartoon. Killer Frost was in Justice League and Young Justice as well as a playable character in the Injustice video game.

This video goes over the Easter eggs. If you don't know a lot about DC some of them may go over your head but there are other things that anybody who has ever watched a DC cartoon will probably recognize.
