Hmmm. I remember about 7 months ago there used to be a huge amount of threads about heavy metal, now there is a huge amount of threads about anime/manga. This fad should pass, but for now this is a neat idea to keep this board less cluttered I guess, but you guys do have your own forum for anime/manga. I'm not a part of the union, nor have I searcehd for the union to know if it exists, but I can almost guarantee there is probably a union solely dedicated to anime/manga that you could join.

Just finished Berserk and loved it except for how it ended :evil: and am watching Initial D which is pretty sick

Y'know, if anyone is looking for something to read, I have an awesome manhwa. Sure, it isn't a manga but even I have to admit it's pretty epic. It's called Trace, you can find it here (not sure about any other sites to read it as of now.)

I don't really watch anime but I did start watching Pokemon online Friday. I barely watched the show when I was little as my parents were very restrictive over the tv when I was young... so I have a bunch of childhood catching up on to do haha.

I watched the first 7 episodes and I can definitely see why people find it so appealing. I giggled like a little child and found myself always rooting for Ash and Pikachu.

actually it was 64....but they only released the first 6 on dvd in the states...pisses me off...i own the 6 episodes though....hack: SIGN was also an entertaining anime...

Nearing the 300GB mark for my anime folder. Not bad for nearly 2 years after reentering the anime world. Most recent series I watched was Myself; Yourself, it was aight, not the greatest though but it gave me something to do that day. Going to be watching Ghost In The Shell SAC again soon. Also been playing Yosuga No Sora, but the english patch stopped on the path I was on and so I have no idea what happened ;___;

I have to agree.

Nothing beats good ol fashioned fantasy anime like Record of Lodoss War. The Slayers is also good and basically a comical spin on RoLW. :P

No one mentioned Shuffle! or Higarashi no naku koro ni, both very entertaining, Higarashi is a bit disturbing though, but in a good way. Haruhi Suzumiya is awesome as well, probably one of my faves.

Another anime I didn't see mentioned was "X", another oldie but goldie. The main character's name is the origin of my username ;)

Times like these I wish I actually bothered putting the time into playing Clannad because I'm pretty sure there is. :P But, by the same token I wouldn't be surprised that there isn't and its only just Kyou, Tomoyo and Nagisa, but Kotomi needs love too >:[

That shouldn't stop you from watching it though, it's really really good.

Well, yeah, they all have routes, but not all of them are romance routes (Fuuko for example). Kotomi's route is pretty much what happens in the anime I believe.Guppy507
