Stuck up girl asks you out?

What if a girl you hate, but is hot and high up in the "food chain" (work place, high school, college, etc) asks you out? Would you accept or REJECT? Why the hell did I make a thread about this? About three days ago a member of an elitist group of airheads asked me out, despite seemingly refusing to acknowledge my existance and condescend towards me (I noticed her staring at me a few times :/). That must have been heremessed up way of screaming, "HEY FERRIS BEULLER! I LIKE YOU!"

If I hate her why would I date her?

If I don't know them to well I might say yes maybe the person actually has a good personality. If I know them good enough and I think their personality sucks then no.

lol, I see all the comments here. Some people don't date for love you know. On topic: It would be kinda weird if a girl I dislike or likes to annoy me would randomly ask me out. I'd feel a little uncomfortable. ...buuuuuut if she's serious. go on and date her. pretend that you like her and treat her like she's the best person in the world. then when she feels like she can't live without you...break it off. :twisted: Sometimes you have to fill in for Karma. :P

in high school i might say yes. in college... maybe. if she was a ***** to everyone but nice to me, i would like that. for some reason, that's a turn on for me :P i've never had it actually happen, but i imagine that i'd like it.

That would be a strange occurence, every girl I've ever liked has proven to be stuck up in their own way. Honestly, at this point I'd just turn them down, after watching them degrade themselves the way the have I'd want nothing to do with them dating-wise.

I would go out with her. I've found that most of the times I've disliked someone, it's because I really didn't know them very well. Either I didn't understand where they were coming from, or they put up a shell because they didn't know me. Usually when I get to know these types of people, they are actually decent personality wise. So yeah, I would date her, get to know her, and if I still didn't like her after going out with her for a while, I would break it off.

With sadness I would have to turn her down...

I shall accept so I can get money from her. Hottness doesn't phase me when I hate them, but money does. But I guess I'd have to take one for the team here and there to keep the relationship afloat.

hating someone because they are in a better social circle than you is dumb. even if they seem "stuck up" who the **** are you to be the judge of moral character. i'd give her a shot

also, its kinda pathetic to see all the people in this thread who wuld date her just to later hurt her feelings as some sort of revenge outburst for the cruelty the suffered during their unpopular high school years. sad really.

I can't date someone who annoys me... but I wouldn't always jump to conclusions about a person over what you see on the outside.

I'm getting from the tone of your posts that this hot girl is way out of your social group who "asked you out". I'd be careful that this wasn't some sort of trap - either she is looking to humiliate you or lost a bet of some kind.

If I was sure it was legitimate why not? You guys are confusing hanging out with someone and starting a relationship. First of all OP says girl is hot and he probably doesn't have many options so going out with any girl is +LifeValue. Secondly if you go out and the girl ends up being insufferable you just don't go out again its not very difficult.

She probably won't act crazy in public anyway because of her reputation. Even if she does you can laugh it off and the hot popular girl going crazy because you rejected her is some of the best social proof you can get.

Nine times out of ten people aren't what they act like in high school. Watch how quickly all of those iron-clad social groups fall apart once everybody graduates. If all you've got against her is that she hangs out with a stuck up crowd, then maybe you should get to know her. Maybe she just thinks you seem nice. I mean, she went out on a limb by asking. The least you can do is turn her down privately and politely. It's pretty jerky to go into it with an attitude like you need to knock somebody down a peg just on principle. You wouldn't want someone doing that to you.
