As much as i love the movie 300, it pains me to say this, but spiderman 3 will probably make more money because more people are familiar with the comic stories than the ancient greeks. So more people will be able to relate to this movie and understand it.

idk....just about everyone i know has seen 300. And most of them have seen it twice or more...but who knows. Horrible movies can get alot of money, but your earnings for a movie doesnt mean it was good.
Of course it will make more money, it has a bigger fan base and its a sequel, which always seem to make more money because people know what to expect. But leonidas will stick a spear up spideys *** and make a spidacabob.

I think Pirates 3 will make more, even though i dont really like those movies.
this coming from someone who's sig is filled with everything 300...
yeah but it made 70mil, pirates two made like 120 mil its opening weekend, pirates 3 will make more.
spiderman 3 will make mroe than pirates..prolly around 400 million, pirates 3 will porlly get like 350 million i cant wait for both...and 300 was really amazing..but i think the Restricted rating held it back from making more money

No they aren't :|. The spider man films are some of the greatest comic book movies IMO. I think Spiderman 3 will sell more, as it is far more family friendly.

300Â was the number three on the top opening weekends for a rated r movie.But r ratings always hurt box office grossing

the only comic book movie I truely liked was batman begins.
I don't really care which one makes more money...I think 300 is going to be better, I've always thought the guy that plays spiderman was such a crap actor. And same with his girlfriend.
Spider-man 3 will make more money. The main reason: It's a PG-13 movie, whick means parents will take their kids. Kids=more butts in the seats, which means more box office take. 300 is very impressive for an R-rated movie,($70 million opening weekend) but it's no competiotion fiancially against Spider-Man.
