Got 8.04 fully installed today and I'm loving it. Fantastic OS. So who else has it or atleast tried it?

The upgrade from 7.10 was pretty minor and it is still slowly destroying my laptop hard drive, so no I don't love it.

I have it. Took forever to upgrade from 7.10, but it's looking good so far. :)

I used to run 7.10 but I got Window for gaming and never installed it again using a dual boot (which I'm thinking about doing).

I have a dual boot. Took forever to get GRUB working. Google will be your friend.

If anyone here uses Ubuntu on a laptop I seriosuly recommend you check if the issue is affecting you and do something about it.

I'm running Xubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron on my desktop. It's Ubuntu, but with xfce instead of GNOME. I love it. I've been running Ubuntu and its variants since Feisty Fawn was brand new.

Just run a Wubi install first and see if you like it. Wubi is 100% safe and can uninstall your Ubuntu through Windows if you don't like it. http://wubi-installer.org/
