ehehhhe i only did 65 :P, but anyways it was a pretty epic moment in my school, everyone stood up in the bleachers and started chanting. but how many pacers can you guys do?SaintsRowSam
What happened to the good old days of school where you actually had to learn instead of having everyone in the gym cheering for people doing running drills?

i know a lot of people who can go up to 185. but i myself can only go up to 35. :(
Pacers, Suicides?
Never heard of that term until now.
Zeromus1337
its when you run from one side of the gym to the other.
We had to push our offensive line coach's SUV around the track four times in pairs of two. That's two guys pushing an SUV for a mile, running.famicommanderyou should have told the cheap jackass to buy some gasoline :)

Pacers are like when you run from one side of the gym to the other
If what you say is so, a Pacer is not the same as a suicide. Suicide is you go from baseline to FT line back, baseline to halfcourt and back, baseline to other FT line and back, and the baseline to baseline and back. And that is 1.The last time I did the pacer test was when I was a sophomore and I only got around 60-70. A guy from my school got around 200, he plays in the NBA now.-OpaK-
Who is he?

Yes really. Look it up on google or something. Suicides>Pacers aka just running back and forth[QUOTE="famicommander"]We had to push our offensive line coach's SUV around the track four times in pairs of two. I remember having to do suicides constantly for lacrosse freaking uphill.
It was brutal.
By the way, suicides and pacers don't seem to be the same thing.

Who is he?
Marvin Williams, he plays for Atlanta. Our school's gym has a sign that shows all of his high school sports records, like how many pacers he did, consecutive free throws, push ups, etc. If you beat any one of those you automatically get an A on the test.
I usually did the requirement of doing all 180 [hense we call it 187] and did it times three.
I aint really know WTF 180 Pacers are aint they suicides?
:( really hate that test. im doing it sometime this week. my best on that was a bit above level 10.Pacers?

Of course not; I'd do it properly with them yoked in front and pulling it.

I used to die around 5, 6 or 7.
i can do like 70 i forget what level it is i dont pay attention to the levels
I can't remember how many I did when I was a Sophomore. We did them while dribbling basketballs though to increase ball handling.
I did them in 8th grade as well and got up probably in the 60s.

That's ironic. I asked the question and I live in Atlanta.

Each length of the gym = 0.1.
So 70 = 7.

oh, we call that a beep test. :?
What is the definition of running in terms of running a pacer? Couldn't you just jog? Is there a judge that decides if you're going too slow?RyuHayabusaX
well my coaches do it like this, music plays, you run, and then then suddenly you'll hear a beep, and you have to be on the other side of the gym, before or exactly the same time it beeps, if you dont make it your out, and you can only start running again after the beep ends. and as time goes by, the beep will beep faster
