I think I speak for everyone including your teacher when I say do your own damn homework. ;)Pirate700
Ha, usually that's the case, but I figured I can be lazy for now and let the legion of OT Debaters do it for me. :D
That'd be awesome if your school turned into a GS religion topic.needled24-7
Ha, as soon as I saw the article I immediately thought of the OT religion threads. Is that pathetic? Probably. Maybe.

You won't find much of a debate on religion or polotics here. It's pretty one sided towards atheism and left wing politics here, unfortunately. You came to the right place, OT is the number one authority on reasonable, well informed, unbiased religious discussion.thriteenthmonkeThis is lolsworthy.

Advice: be as specific as possible. Do not use general terms like "today" or "in society" like a person above suggested. Also, try to not tackle the whole debate. Go for one aspect like evolution, the meaning of the word theory, or age of the earth.
For it to be a good a paper you must go to great lengths explaining every point you make. Do not just quote evidence. You need to explain it, describing each part.
To start it, just give some background of the debate and then narrow it down to what you want to talk about. For a thesis statement, just list off your main points (usually 3 for normal high school? papers) Then at the start of each paragraph name your point and list three pieces of evidence. Then explain at length.
There you go, now you can write a paper. I want a cookie now.
