Should women be allowed to walk around topless in public?

Do you think Women should be allowed to walk around topless in public? I certainly do. I love to take off my top in my backyard, and sunbath in the grass.

However, why can't we do this in public? Men are allowed to take off their shirts, but women can't? It seems like a very misogynistic sense of living. It also seems very hypocritical, that we condem other countries for allowing women to cover their entire bodies, but we, a country who is so much more evolved, isn't allowed to expand upon of freedoms?

This is a secular nation. Why can I not take off my top in public?

A lot of American parents as whole allow our children to watch violence on tv, but when a boobie pops out all hell breaks loose. And I don't if I want to see grandma's goodies, thats a nightmare thinking about it.

Lots of People find it offensive, its just human instinct to say, oh thats offensive, I don't believe it to be immoral or offensive or anything but I can tell you there are alot of people who do.

That would be normal if every girl walked around topless. No I dont think they should. Girls have sensitive feelings in there chest which explain the reasons why they cover them. I wouldnt complain if they did though.

Because people find breasts inapropriate. If they can't show them in a PG13 movie, it's because it is usually deemed for more mature people.
Personally I have no problem with it, except if your grandma does it, but other people do, especially old folks, conservatives, and parents.

But seriously now, for one thing men are more likely to act on the "excitement" of seeing a topless women. no women would feel comfortable for long with men staring them down and talking to them as they walk the streets and if you thought rape was an issue before imagine if this was allowed (especially since the women is already half dressed means less work for the rapist). Plus men and women are built differently. seeing a man's chest is completely different then seeing a women's.

it wouldn't be though, go to a nudist beach and you'll see there's none of that, germany has alot of nudists but i've never heard of them having a high sexual harasment rate

Its a bad idea. Not because nudity offends me, but because there are a lot of people I just don't want to see naked.

For example, Has anyone actually been to or seen a nudist colony? Its usually people you DON'T want to see naked!
