scientist will claim that shaving doesn't make your hair on your body not grow faster/darker/thicker

many people will go on google see that scientist said its not true.
and shave and then end up having a night mare to the point where u now have to constantly shave over and over

i grew my facial naturally i didnt shave it but some people especially women will have really no hair on they body and they will shave it just because and then its starts growing out of control im telling u !

regardless of whether it is true or not. I love how people are under this impression that just because the word scientist is there it means what you read is pure, objective science. this is hilarious. especially when dealing with crap like this that is only suitable for facebook clickbait articles.

You hair grows quicker and quicker in puberty, and more so as you age, but it seems to level off somewhere in the mid 20s to mid 30s on men.

I shaved and expected a beard growth spurt and .... nothing happened. Hard to say really; some other people end up getting a growth spurt. There maybe some other factors involved here which haven't yet been investigated.

I shaved for years and barely had anything grow. I was mid-20's before I started getting a proper beard.

Well if you think about it geometry-wise the hair has a certain thickness that then tapers to the tip. If you shave or cut the hair then you would have the same thickness on the full length of the hair? So would it not be thicker on average?

I guess it depends on if hair grows from the tip, from the base or evenly along it's length.

It has to do with your health too, the healthier you are, the more it grows.

Just like when you cut off a raccoon's tail, it grows back fuller and bushier.

@TheHighWind: "Just like when you cut off a raccoon's tail, it grows back fuller and bushier."

Why would someone cut off a raccoon's tail?

My hair seems to be the same texture after all of my shaves. I don't have much pubic hair myself either.

Hair gets thicker with puberty. Hair also appears thicker after shave because they start off short and stubby, then eventually get long and thinner at the ends.

everyone knows about puberty but no one isn't talking about puberty

of course many people got hairy because of this situation of shaving and some parts of the body where they shaved at is way longer and thicker
