Well folks, it's official. Russia has declared war on the US. No need for a source, just turn on your TV.
This should be horrific, yet interesting.
WW3 anyone?

Interesting.

no
I'm sure it will be interesting in 50 years for kids history lessons.
Pretty much. First two albums were epic. Everything since then has been downhill (for me at least)There is absolutely 0 chance that this will live up to the title. ZERO

I feel like Eminem is constantly making excuses and tries to convince people that "he's back".
Encore was released and people didn't really like it. He took a break and released Relapse which people also didn't like. Then there was one song on Recovery where he said "Those last two albums didn't count; Encore I was on drugs, Relapse I was flushing 'em out" - basically blaming his addiction problems for those albums being subpar. Then Recovery wasn't all that loved either.
Now he seems to be saying "you guys want the old Eminem back? Okay, I'll dye my hair again and make a follow-up to my most-loved album".

Well, Recovery has sold 10 Million copies worldwide and was received well by critics. It's unfair to call it a bad album.

Popularity does not = a good bad album. Well received by critics? Pitchfork says hi http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/14380-recovery/[QUOTE="HyperWarlock"][QUOTE="JML897"]

4/5 seems to be about the average here.
Strange coincidence that Eminem dissed N-sync extensively on the original MMLP, and on the same day MMLP 2 is announced, N-Sync get back together.
Mid life crisis at its best. Shottayouth13-
:P I've never like Eminem and I never will. But this is good news for his fans I suppose.Â
No matter what he puts out people will say the old stuff is better. Happens to every musician limpbizkit818
This. Also I think people fail to realize that simply because a new album isn't as good as a previous release doesn't mean its a bad or even mediocore album. Recovery was great, the flow, word-play, lyrical content was all there but the subject matter and sound was different. Bad Meets Evil Hell the Sequel was also good album. Neither of them were as good as Slim Shady LP or Marshall Mathers LP, but I'm glad they existed. I'm pretty excited for this album, I've been awaiting the release of this for over a year now, and the name and image of the album were more than I could of hoped for, hopefully the lyrics don't dissapoint.

Have any of you heard Welcome 2 Hell? Eminem still has it. Capitan_KidSometimes he tries too hard though to be what he isn't. He shouldn't try being the old Eminem because that just isn't who he is now.

Pitchfork is arguably the most famous (and important) review publication for music currently. If you're talking about hipster in terms of musical taste then please explain what in the fvck is hipster music taste considering they review EVERYTHING.[QUOTE="Swanogt19"][QUOTE="HyperWarlock"]
