Roll Call: Battle of the Hip-Hop Giants

Regardless of whether or not you think 50 Cent is overrated and talentless, and whether or not you think Kanye West is nothing more than an opinionated loudmouth, you have to recognize the fact that they sell millions of records, and 9/11 is the biggest release day for hip-hop in a long, long while. Who is going to outsell who? I'm sure Kanye will come out on top, but then again, people are still oblivious to the fact that 50 doesn't know how to make a good song anymore.

By the way, this poll is objective. If you don't want to vote, don't reply with "Neither, rap sucks." Seriously. :|

i'm hoping for kanye, but neither one is any good IMO. it's a shame that these are the rappers that sell when artists like k-os and immortal technique are completely unknown to most music fans.

To be honest, the more artistry you bring in your music, the less mass appeal it has. I wrote some kind of mathematical equation that describes this phenomenon, but I can't quite remember it off hand.
