[QUOTE="Thechaninator"][QUOTE="Berzz"][QUOTE="Thechaninator"] [QUOTE="Berzz"]Well, I have seen tons of horror movies, and I think this was the only one that really creeped me out. It was an amazing film, everyone should see it if you want to see a good, well-elaborated horror film. Watch the original, though, not the remake.Berzz
Why in God's name does everyone speak of Quarantine as if it is out yet? Seriously, what the hell do people have against Quarantine? Do you even realize that The Departed was a freaking remake itself and turned out extremely well???
There is a huge difference. Firstly, The Departed was directed by Martin Scorsese, which is almost guaranteed that will turn out to be a good film, even though it's a remake. The actors/actresses in Rec were pretty appropiate for the film, and by seeing the trailer of Quarantine I can say they don't look like they can put up to what the original offered. And there was one certain part of the trailer that really made me think they had screwed up. Have you seen Rec yet?
I assume you are refferring to them putting the ending in the trailer, right?
That is one thing. And the other thing maybe you would notice when you see the film. When you see it, probably you change your opinion on what you're saying. I usually don't discard remakes only for being remakes, but in this case, yes.
I plan on getting the original on DVD but have run into a roadblock.
All the DVD's are region 2 but I live here in the US so I am not sre if my 360 will be able to play it....
