Horrible, repetitive, created just to hurt my soul. Evil, annoying, sound of thousand heartless ghouls.

Seriously this song is THE WORST, had all the elements that I hate.

Techno-pop beat: Check

Party and getting drunk: Check

Meaningless lyrics: Check

Modern hip-hop: Check

Yet this song hit number 1 in so many charts.

0/10, not cool.

Thank you. I have been wondering about this song because people kept talking about it but was too lazy to look it up. :P Is that Ke$ha singing the chorus? Hm. Sounds like her kind of song. It gets a 4/10 for me because of the music makes me want to dance. It's a party song, anyway.

Great song. Overplayed, but still a great song to drink and dance to. Don't see why people are hating.

I can't stand it, and I don't really care if it's a 'party song' because I have no interest in clubbing/drinking/dancing/etc.

I hate this song. The low synthesizer tune I find creepy, it's obnoxious, isn't fun and there's no such airplane as a G6. And then in their song "Rocketeer" (which doesn't annoy me as much) they still reference the nonexistant aircraft.

G6 is slang for the Gulfstream 650, so it is an actual plane. But I hate the autotune as well.

Haha yes! I like it, I like music that I can dance to. It makes me happy (: If music makes me happy, I don't look any further into it, tbh. I don't think about the lyrics. It's how it makes ya' feel, man. Have you heard their song Rocketeer?

If you referring to the girl, her track isn't auto-tuned.

Hrm. Since when does having a heavy bass beat mean it's a dance song? What exactly constitutes a dance song? Why can people not dance to other types of music? Do people require lyrics about getting drunk and sex in order to dance? Has dance been so sexualized and masculinized to be reduced to such a state? *sigh*

The Far East Movement could have been a decent hip hop group but they went the wrong direction, going for the techno and auto tune pop crowd. Honestly, that's where the money's at. You can't blame them for making a smart business move, but as artists, they completely suck now. Their album is total garbage.

Oh I'm not saying it's a bad song to dance to, I just wonder why people toss out that it's a dance song, it's a club song, etc. as if there's an ideal type of music(or should be an ideal type) for clubs and dancing. I'm more or less just making a general statement on the condition of music these days :P I dance to pretty much all music unless it's a specific song I dislike, yet people think it odd for people to dance to music that's more rock than pop, more metal than disco, more noise than dubstep, etc. It's almost like the only socially acceptable form of dancing is 'bump&grind' these days. I mean, I don't enjoy dancing sexually or anything, so I prefer other methods and get odd stares and such. It's both fascinating and odd, I suppose.

you can't deny that this is a good party song. Granted it does have **** lyrics, a repetitive beat, and a one-hit-wonder artist. Isn't that what makes it good though? I hum it when I hear it so I can't hate.

I'm not saying that it's a song geared towards men, but it is associated with the current dance stylings found in clubs that are rather 'masculinized'.

Good beat, decent song but it gets old quick.
