I haven't listened to them enough. But they sound pretty good. Especially the novelty of it being in german.

My ticket was like $88 dollars and Im going to be on the 2nd level. :( Luckily someone bought the ticket for me as a b day gift. :D
i have their old CD from the late 90's with 'Du Hast' its a great CD, but i havent heard anything else since that album.
8/10 I don't understand most of the lyrics But these guys show that music it's all that mattersDarthkaiser
I like them, and their live shows look like they are among the best. It doesnt really seem like they put a lot of substance in thier songs lyrically though, the lead singer sings a couple lines then is on the chorus and does this a couple times with a lot of solos and thats it. Most of their songs it feel like all im listening to is one long chorus.
Sehnsucht definitely was a brilliant album, but my personal favourite is probably Mutter. You should give Rosenrot and Liebe ist für alle da a listen, both good albums.i have their old CD from the late 90's with 'Du Hast' its a great CD, but i havent heard anything else since that album.

Í bet your favourite songs are Büch Dich and Tier. :P I do like them but from that particular album my favorites are Engel and Alter Mann. Are they sexual in nature?[QUOTE="Second_Rook"]I also like the fact that I don't understand most of the lyrics, I can just let the song make me feel how it makes me feel. Deihjan
Actually I'm with you on Mutter. It has all my favorites on it, particularly Feuer Frei (who wouldn't understand Bang! Bang!) and Spieluhr. But the whole thing is amazing from start to finish.

Yeah they are, breathing fire with these whatevers, and flaming arrows. Outstanding.

9/10 Loved loved loved them when I was a little younger (my angry rock phase? Who knows :P) and they're still awesome to listen to, but I just find some of their later stuff a little questionable. German is most definitely the language of "anger", as they've said in interviews. It sounds powerful, yet the same time, it's soothing to the ears.
I absolutely adore Sonne, the first Rammstein song that made me sit up and pay attention to these guys.
I like a handful of songs by them but wouldn't pay to see them. I've got an album of theirs somewhere but listen to most of their tracks via Youtube. Funnily enough the first time I heard of them was at the beginning of the film "XXX" with Vin Diesel  .Bought the Volkerball DVD before Christmas and thought it was fantastic. I thought Metallica were great there but Rammstein give more of a theatrical performance.

Most of the songs have sexual undertones or meanings, if you understand german, as well as the music videos containing references to drug use (Sonne - Snow White takes gold as if it was heroin) or sexual submission. Please Log In to post.
