I was going to give him a 9 but just to be different from everyone, I'll rate him an 8.

That is why I mentioned Glass because Sam Jackson is going to play a serious character.

I like his movies. But, I see he hasn't moved out (of the US) yet. 8

I actually think he is a great actor, he just get's typecasted and takes fun roles. I can't recall any super serious Oscar winning roles off the top of my head, but I liked him in Black Snake Moan, and thought he was plain evil in Hateful 8 (but good evil).
