Yippee Ki yay Mother ....
Well?
Yippee Ki yay Mother ....
A line that made sense in the first movie, but is random and stupid in the sequels.
He is a very type-cast movie actor, and I would never rank a type-cast actor anywhere close to being among the best league of method actors; however, he is very iconic in some of his movie roles and likable as well.
With that said, he is just a safe but non-controversial actor, and sometimes we need nothing more than that. He's good at what he does.
Every-time I see him now he kinda looks like he wants to be dead.
This. Die Hard 3 was the last time he looked like he gave a damn in his roles. He's been sleepwalking through everything he's done for the last 20 years, collecting a paycheck.
He gets a six. Two decades of not caring adds up, and nostalgia only goes so far.

Pretty much this. He's had some iconic roles and that's it.
He gets a 7/10 for being a type-cast actor and he gets a 3/10 for method acting - and rounding both of my criteria together with basic mathematics, that makes Bruce Willis a 5/10 actor overall.
