The King of Limbs is such a fantastic album. Raidohead is the biggest, and arguably best band in the world. They literally have songs for just about everyone. Do you agree? What's your honest opinion on Radiohead?

They are definitely not for everyone. But I do agree they are one of the biggest bands around. I enjoy their music and I think Thom Yorke is probably a musical genius. But even though I think their music is good, I can't listen to it for too long. I don't enjoy it like I do The Strokes or the Arctic Monkeys. Different genre I guess. I treat Radiohead like I do modern art: brilliant but somewhat esoteric. With their newest release, The King of Limbs, Raidohead has become the biggest, best band in the world. They literally have songs for just about everyone. Do you agree? What's your honest opinion on Radiohead?

Just because they are your favorite band, does not make them the biggest or the best. I personally think they are incredibly overrated and have not put out anything worth listening to. Just my opinion though.
Well they're not for everyone, but they are far and away my favorite band.
The King of Limbs is amazing
I wouldn't go that far with it, they are good but not that great.CMFreezyI do hope you were referring to Radiohead, not Mastodon... Mastodon pwns all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3HVLyI-t3E
Anybody who thinks Mastodon is the best band of this decade is disabled. That cake goes to Radiohead.
Converge's vocals make me want to slap them with a large fish.
If you want good experimental metal, listen to Meshuggah.
Converge is better than Meshuggah, and arguably Mastodon. Had to be saidConverge's vocals make me want to slap them with a large fish.

I'm sure Mastodon and Meshuggah make most people want to slap them with a whale

Damn straight. I liked their Jonah Hex work more than Blood Mountain lol. Except for maybe Colony of Birchmen. Still. I think I've farted better music than Converge.Just a heads up, Baroness is already gunning for best album of the '10s.

I like a few songs on Blood Mountain, but I feel like it's mostly filler Jane Doe, No Heroes, Axe to Fall, Petitioning the Empty Sky are all great albums. Caring and Killing, and You Fail Me are good too, but not their top tier stuff.[QUOTE="Slipstream720"] I own the special edition :P

Man like everyday there's a thread about somebody creamin' their shorts over Radiohead.-Fromage-
little by little by hook or by crook
4 albums 2000s, 1 in 2010s( so far), 3 in 90s. Pretty prolific DivergeUnifyBuckethead's had 30 albums since 1992, 4 last year.. that's not so prolific. :D
This is 10 times anything Radiohead ever did.
auron_16
If this is 10 times anything Radiohead ever did, then Radiohead must be the worst band ever. :P
Im actually having trouble working out the biggest bands of the last couple of decades.
50's and 60's are easy.
Beatles 50's
Led Zeppelin 60's
Pink Floyd+Queen 70's
AC/DC 80's
Nirvana late 80's early 90's
Pearl Jam 90's
I will probably be forgetting someone.
Yeah, seriously.Name one song that's actually worth listening to.One single song.[QUOTE="Lto_thaG"][QUOTE="auron_16"]Overrated/10.JML897
Paranoid Android FTW
This post is titled 'Radiohead is the biggest band this decade' Paranoid Android is off of an album released 1997, so this doesn't really support the argument. And no Radiohead aren't the biggest band of the decade.Where do i start, your missing a few greats: 60's- The Jimi Hendrix Experience 60's/70's- The Rolling Stones 80's- Guns 'n' Roses I could go on.Im actually having trouble working out the biggest bands of the last couple of decades.

Honestly? I hated Thief, Rainbows, and Limbs. I cannot stand their electronic, ambient stuff. They are not songs, they are just assymetric phrases and complicated rhythms put together.
Radiohead is being weird for the sake of being weird. Polyrhythms and crazy accidentals and stuff is fine, but the new Radiohead (after Kid A) is just not good songwriting. The songs are just too odd.Its too much. The only song ive liked in the past decade was Video tape.
OK Computer and The Bends I love to death.
I hated radiohead in the 2000's.
