POLL: Seinfeld or Friends?

This shall be a battle in the Off-Topic Forum that shall be remembered for many years to come:

Let's decide once and for all, which is the better show: SEINFELD or FRIENDS? Both shows were extremely popular during their runtime. At the same time, there is a huge divide between the fans of both shows. From personal experience, I have found that those who loved Seinfeld hated Friends and vice versa.

Personally, I prefer Seinfeld over Friends for several reasons. Characters such as Newman, Kramer, and George were so unique and extremely memorable and always leave you wanting to see what would happen next. I also think that the jokes and the things that happen to the characters (unlucky things happening to George, etc.) were for the most part, very well thought out and made you really burst out laughing if you thought about what was being.

Friends is an okay show, but it always felt to me like it was all about them getting into one relationship after the next. After a while, it gets kinda annoying. Also, the jokes they use are pretty shallow and are "cheap laughs" (in my opinion, of course). The only character I really liked was Chandler. I liked Rachel too..but I think that I laughed at her jokes not because she was incredibly funny..but more because she was Jennifer Aniston........

I know that I have opened Pandora's Box and I will be loved and hated by many for this post. Anyways, what do you think? Please answer the poll and feel free to post!

They're both not particularly interesting and I care for neither.

Friends is horrible. One of my least favourite "hit" shows I've ever watched. Seinfeld gets my vote.

Seinfeld is much better but I like Friends also.

what? jokes in friends are shallow? I beg to differ since most of them are kinda witty . I love chandler's sarcasm , Phoepe's weirdness and the geeky Ross . Those kinda of deminsions in each character is the spice of this show . I hate sienfeld becuase I don't like that lead actor whom I didn't other to memorize his name . you know the guy with the bees_Ben99_

Like i said before, Chandler is the only character I genuinely like from Friends. Ross was mad noob, especially when it came to girls (though I loved when he started speaking in an English accent in his Paleontology course), and Phoebe....

Let's just say I hate Phoebe. Her commentary was in my opinion, dumb humor and it didn't make me laugh at all. Usually, she made me scratch my head and think "Wtf?"

Seinfeld = One of the 5 best comedic shows ever

it's like far out man...totally out of this world:P honestly, i'm not sure why ppl compare these two shows. they are quite different. i'd say that Seinfeld is gonna be the safe bet though.

I don't think Dog the Bounty Hunter is terrible, but the other three are even worse than they sound.

The Hills = Watching spoiled 20-something year olds live their lives in Beverly Hills

Cribs = Watching rich people give you tours of their houses

I really dislike Friends, a lot. Seinfeld was genius. A show about nothing! Yet, it wound up being something.....great.:D

Friends by FAAARRRR.

Seinfeld was too ridiculous. Every episode after Larry David left especially, was not only ridiculous but somehow everyone's stories always tied together no matter how absurd. Although it was HILARIOUS.

I thought Friends not only had the comedy, but I thought there was a lot more heart too. That's why I found it more enjoyable.

And I still think Ross is funnier than George.

Either way both amazing and nothing comes close.

Although The Office is unbelievable as well.

Verily, anyone who dares to pick a choice besides Seinfield lacketh a soul.

Never really watched either, but I'd have to say friends.

Seinfeld by a long shot.

I own the entire collection, I love it.
