Poll Picard vs. Discovery. Which is better? (6 votes)

Jean-luc Picard 100%
Starship Discovery 0%

I haven't seen Picard yet, but I have seen 2/3 of Discovery and the last episode. Are they worth a watch? Should I renew my subscription to watch Picard?

I only watched a few episodes of Discovery and didnt care for it. Heard it gets better in season 2 but I haven't watched.

I liked season 1 of Picard. It doesn't really feel like Star Trek, but makes for a perfectly good sci fi series. Unfortunately, the ending just kinda sucks. I haven't seen season 2 and am in no hurry.

If you really want more Star Trek, watch The Oriville.

They are both terrible imo.

But Picard further soils TNG, which the movies done prior. It's nothing new, in that regard, but it's especially bad here, doesn't even feel like Star Trek.

As far as I'm concerned Picards story, and TNG ended at "All Good Things".

Meanwhile... on dumb Trek.

Where's the "They both suck" option? I used to think it couldn't get any worse than Voyager, but that series is classic Star Trek in comparison to the garbage they're producing now.

They are both an insult to star trek and trekkies everywhere.

I haven't heard good things about either series.

Discovery tries too hard to appear advanced and be on the cutting edge of social progression and the season long stories could be summed up in an episode or two of TNG era Star Trek and a lot more concisely. Feels like they had no plan for the series and it just stumbles all over the place trying to piece together a comprehensible story.

I prefer Picard but, sadly, both are very very poor. That last season of discovery was especially shocking.

Honestly the best star trek at the moment is The Orville.

The best sci-fi running at the moment is The Expanse imho.
