  1. Pacific Rim Uprising - $28,003,000 (new release)
  2. Black Panther - $16,658,000
  3. I Can Only Imagine - $13,837,495
  4. Sherlock Gnomes - $10,600,000 (new release)
  5. Tomb Raider - $10,430,000
  6. A Wrinkle in Time - $8,044,000
  7. Love, Simon - $7,800,000
  8. Paul, Apostle of Christ - $5,000,000 (new release)
  9. Game Night - $4,160,000
  10. Midnight Sun - $4,119,000 (new release)

While the numbers may seem like lower here but it was a big hit in the international vs here in the U.S alone. I must say, Pacific Rim: Uprising was a nice action movie which I enjoy & if you like Monsters vs Robots style, this is it. Nothing like Bay's Transformers. Kinda of a slow weekend from the look of it.

Also, Black Panther sure had a good run over a month staying number one for the longest Marvel movie yet.

March 23-25 mojo's box office weekend

@davillain-:

Black Panther was an excellent movie, but it was a weak start to 2018 for movies, so there wasn't any proper competition, hence the run at #1. I usually go to the movies once a week but I haven't gone for a month and a half other then to see BP twice.

Pacific Rim was decent. It's the type of movie that you know exactly what to expect.

@AFBrat77:"I usually go to the movies once a week"

So I assume you watch random movies?

i hear mixed things about the new one. but then reviews about the old one werent great either. if it delivers monster and big robots knocking the crap out of each other then im happy.

i liked the first one. my biggest criticisim of it was there wasnt enough action. i had my popcorn and big drink and was ready for a show. it started well: then it went quiet for a long time THEN it kicked off. the battle with the EMP and flying monsters was brilliant.

@PSP107:

Generally there is about 3 or 4 movies I want to see at any given time, so I stretch it out. But early 2018 nada other than BP.
