Opinions on the movie Hook?

Hook was always one of my favorite movies as a child but just recently I noticed that it has actually recieved very poor reviews.

I watched it again tonight and still thought it was a pretty decent movie. I mean, I think the critics are right in that it doesn't hold up well if you take the movie too seriously but if you just let yourself get caught up in it it's a neat flick.

What do you guys think of this film?

the movie was amazing.

I'm glad he is off drugs, but Robin Williams on coke was a great time for movies :P

I liked it as a kid. I still kinda do. I dont see anything egregious about it. I think its an interesting concept for a kids movie.

Stupid and boring.Lonelynight

It's a children's film. Why on earth would anyone try to take it seriously? It's great and the scene with the imaginary food will forever remain in my mind! One day I will feast like that, one day!

never liked it. thought it was a wasted opportunity to make really good Peter Pan film. Instead we got "I believe in you" junk and a whiney, weak, old Peter Pan.

I thought it was a great movie

I enjoyed it. One of my favorites as a kid. I was the same age of those kids when the movie came out too. Made me want to be a lost boy.

Thought it was a little boring, and i couldn't stand Tinkerbell, but it has some redeeming factors, overall, is not great, but i don't thinks is bad.
