I don't think anything can touch the trilogy, especially since they lost two of the main characters.

That said, I like Penelope Cruz (for more than one reason..) and Johnny Depp is always pretty fun to watch, so I think the movie will still be enjoyable. Will be seeing it day one with my girlfriend, most likely. 8)

Not watching it after the 3rd one.
They just got worse with each movie.

I saw earlier today and its looking good. It should be a pretty good sequel since orlando bloom's and keira knightely's characters are out of this movie. But this thread is just gonna get a bunch of haters like it already has.

They should have stopped after the first one. The last 2 were just awful.

I found it on youtube (sorry I didn't use the guy who tried to help me but thanks anyways) and it looks awesome. I loved the first three movies and I'm totally looking forward to it. Though it's strange to see Barbosa working for a different side. I hope he gets his pirate outfit back before the end of the movie. Personally I'd like to think he's playing them.

I don't go to these movies looking for some incredible script that blows my mind, I go for entertainment and they have satisfied that desire. I will see it!Human-after-all

i basically agree with this, but the story did get a bit tooridiculous in 3.

That's because the first movie was almost entirely Depp (and some of Rush) and Bloom/Knightly weren't important. Once their roles got expanded, it got worse.

It looks pretty good. Johnny Depp is what made the first 3 worth watching; and Keira Knightly, but for different reasons.harashawn

I couldn't tell Kiera Knightly from the bony skeletons sometimes, it was kinda hard. I'm kinda glad she's gone so I don't have that difficuly again!

loved the original trilogy.

With that said, this one looks real cheesy. More humor than the action adeventure and dark themes of the first three.

But Blackbeard is in it, so I want to see Sparrow and him duel for top pirate of all-time.

I don't understand how you could find someone who's body would appear to make the person look like they have cancer remotely attractive, but w/e.

Her face is reasonable though.

Can't wait. I'm glad that Will is no longer in the movie, the way he talked just bothered me. I loved the first three and I know I'll love this one.

It looks alright. I just hope it doesn't turn into a super cornfest like the third movie.

I loved the first and second movie, but they really overdid it in the last one.

Oh God, that looks horrible, i liked the trilogy a lot, specially the first one, the second was good and the third has some nice special effects, but this one, i don't kno why, but it looks pretty terrible, maybe i'm judging way to early, but i didn't like the trailer, however, i like the cast, and no, i'm not only talking about Penelope Cruz.

the 3rd one was so confusing and way too long. the first one was good though, not a fan of 2-3 and in the 4th one kiera knightly will not be in it?!?!? thats awful
