The Avengers movies and Captain America: Civil War.
Love Marvel generally, and Winter Soldier was great but the above movies are too busy for me.
The first 2 Godfather movies are in my Top 5 favorites of all time, Avatar is Top 10, and Citizen Kane, Revenant, and Bladerunner are in my Top 20, so I differ with people on those picks
I have to say Deadpool sucks. I slept 75% of the movie off in the cinema....
The same goes for Guardians of the Galaxy 1. Luckily, the 2nd movie is a pleasant surprise.

2001: ASO.
For the life of me I can't stay awake during this movie. Yea, yea, it's great, amazing, deep...if you can remain awake. Even the AI's voice seems tailor designed to put people to sleep.
Yea, didn't like this one either. Weird, but boring.
Cast Away, Shawshank Redemption....just can't get through those movies without wanting to do something else.
Star Wars (There hasn't been one which I haven't almost fallen asleep to multiple times during its run)
Wall-E
I think most movies are over-hyped. I usually enjoy the Marvel movies, but my interest level varies from movie to movie. I thought Doctor Strange could have been a lot better than it was, but I enjoyed Civil War earlier last year.
Batman VS. Superman sucked hard, but I like that it made me like Superman more than Batman because I never really realized I identify more with Clark than Bruce.
I'm actually polarized with myself whenever I watch movies anymore, if that makes any sense.
In terms of recent movies...
Star Wars: Rogue One: I honestly didn't attached to any of the characters emotionally (except for K-2S0, who was pretty fun). The lead felt like a clone of Rey from Force Awakens, and if you've watched the original movies, you know how this one ends from the get-go. Also the CGI for the dead actors is really unsettling. I heard about how bad it was online before seeing it, but ACTUALLY seeing it is just... *shudders*. All in all a pretty underwhelming Star Wars movie.
Batman V. Superman: This one, to me, is just bad. The amount of poor choices DC made on this is ludicrous. I know that a good number of people didn't like Man of Steel, but I thought this was way worse. It makes so many mistakes both as an adaption of two DC stories and as a movie on it's own. The plot feels like a retread of a lot of Man of Steel's ideas, there's a decent number of plot points that amount to nothing, and the movie tries way to hard to act important rather than feel important. It's actually really pretentious at times, which makes it a lot less fun. Jesse Eisenburg was an abysmal choice to play Lex Luthor (seriously: EVERY PART of his performance was horrible), Batman goes from being a deep character defined by fiercely sticking to his morals to a psychopath going out of his way to slaughter dozens of people, and Superman has no reason to want to stop Batman other than that he's a vigilante... like him. It has some pretty good acting from Ben Affleck and Jeremy Irons, Wonder Woman is pretty cool (for the small amount of screen time she gets), and some of the special effects are nice. But it's clear DC just wanted to rush into a cinematic universe in order to compete with Marvel, cramming so many plot points and characters into this movie that I barely felt invested in anything going on. This train wreck is not the movie that huge characters like Superman or Batman deserve.
Any movie with leo dicaprio/george clooney, you name it.
I also find all super-hero movies unbearable.
most highly acclaimed but boring ass movie with no redeeming value I watched in the last couple decades, well, first that comes to mind is Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Whitney houston's Bodyguard (thank god no more sequel)
Kuch kuch hota hei (cringed)
Highschool Musical (ewww kids with period movie)
Sharktales ... (snoozefest cartoon)
Most modern mainstream stuff and remakes Hollywood keeps pooping out. Hell i will take good old Troma films any day over Hollywood
