  1. Midway - $17.5 Million (new release)
  2. Doctor Sleep - $14.1 Million (new release)
  3. Playing with Fire - $12.8 Million (new release)
  4. Last Christmas - $11.6 Million (new release)
  5. Terminator: Dark Fate - $10.7 Million
  6. Joker - $9.2 Million
  7. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil - $8.0 Million
  8. Harriet - $7.2 Million
  9. Zombieland: Double Tap - $4.3 Million
  10. Jojo Rabbit - $3.9 Million

Note: Box office Mojo has been completely revamped! It now looks like your standard generic garbage. Most features are now behind a paywall, such as seeing International Totals for individual films (unless you want to go through the hassel of checking each country individually) This is a shame and this year will be my very last year of doing these box office weekend and so with that, thank you all OT over the years of letting me doing these threads for you.

A pretty terrible week at the box office for just about everyone. Doctor Sleep did about half of what it was expected to coming into the weekend, Last Christmas did very poorly and Playing with Fire is a John Cena firefighter movie where he looks like JBL for some reason. Bright spots include Midway which over-performed but being part of Veteran's Day weekend sure gave it a boost which was unexpected hit. I was sick this passed weekend and didn't see anything at all.

November 8-10 mojo's new box office weekend

Are you sure the only reason is it's Veteran's Day weekend?

AFAIC, the only Midway film worth anything is the 1976 version.

Haven't even heard of Midway. And damn, Terminators second week almost got beat out by Joker which has been out for awhile now!?! Sucks cause I keep hearing Dark Fate is actually good.

The action scenes were good, everything else - not so much.

Yamamoto was an interesting figure and it is always interesting watching history that isn't written by the victors.
