Why exactly are we putting him in prison for a year? People have guns in their house.. For things to go wrong all they have to do is hide it in a trench coat and shoot up a place. Makes no difference if it's in the guys tour bus or his house.

You dont go to prison for just illegal gun possesion, the police obviously had more dirt on him they probably couldn't convict him with. He probably had dental work to remove his gold or silver plated teeth so that in prison the inmates wont pull it out haha.
