I dunn. I love my music. I collect on the CDs and Vinyl Records of musicians I like, so I can't say I would be asahmed. Even when I bought that lame James Blunt CD, I still enjoyed it a bit, plus girls love heaving that in my car :)

I'm not ashamed of my personal purchases (which range from Coldplay to Marvin Gaye), but when I was eight, I wanted an Aaron Carter CD, and so my dad bought it for me.

Yeah, out of my most recent purchases, I'd have to agree with this...and yeah their first album was best. I actually saw them in concert before they hit it big.

They are actually really good live, but alot of theyre live performance is visual, not the sound alone.

I liked Christ Illusion, but I agree St. Anger was unlistenable.

I didn't think I was ashamed about any of my purchases, until I read this post. Then I remembered how my parents got me that Aaron Carter CD when I was a kid..

mine must have been lil jon's "crunk juice". i was with some buddies we were drunk and we were makin fun of some white dudes trying to act black (with the non-matching loose clothing and american eagle hats) at a party so we went to wal mart bought it just for the one track they tried to look cool to. but i ended up being the fool since i had to keep it. (oh and in case your wondering, i listen to H-town underground flows, no mainstream rap for me).

Ah... No one can do worse than me I believe. I have Britney Spears, S Club, Jewel, Spice Girls, millions of pop albums. Then rock/metal woke me up somewhat... I guess the one I was really ashamed of... was Hannah Montana's first cd, for my neice. She wanted to play it everytime I took her somewhere, and wanted me to sing too... Ah well. My name is MistressMinako and i'm addicted to Pop Music.

Well, this is going back aways, but I took a chance on the self-titled New Found Glory cd that came in out in 2000 based on some positive stuff I heard about them, and boy did I regret it.

For more recent purchases though, nothing too regretful immediately jumps to mind, but I have bought some random hardcore cds over the years that I've barely ever listened to, for example, I have a few cds by Stand and Fight and one by Champion. Not knocking those bands but it wasn't for me.

Actually, wait! I just remembered something. I bought Against Me - Reinventing Axl Rose recently because a bunch of people said it was mind-blowing and awesome and what-not and I friggin' hated it. Hated it. Couldn't stand to listen to it the whole way through. So...there. That the last album I am ashamed of buying. Funny thing is, I bought Against Me - New Wave and love it. Go figure.
