"Pyongyang said it plans to fire a rocket to put a satellite into orbit next month to mark the centennial of the birth of founding leader Kim Il-sung."
Is everything their government do is because of Kim Il-sung?
Christ, the man has been dead for decades...
I'm pretty sure a small country can be pretty powerful. Not that it matters or anything but I'm pretty sure other countries think of the US as a cakewalk.shadowchronicleThat would be a rather foolish thought......and I doubt you have any evidence of such.

North Koreans use Kim in the same context that most devout Christians use Jesus. It's the same level of indoctrination by the church and NK Government.
[QUOTE="BranKetra"]Have you seen their parades and dancing events? I wouldn't call their goverment modest. Small countries trying to be big, lol. They have nukes, so they kind of have room to act that way.[QUOTE="Cloud_765"]North Korea, have you ever heard of FIREWORKS? Really, guys...Cloud_765

Wow, that's quite the good comparison you just pulled. I guess it's all about how much you love a man... wonder if they really do love him, then again, this comes to mind.[QUOTE="Victorious_Fize"]

The two guys who have ran the government since Sung's death were crazy extremists with total power over the government and the populace who idolize their forefather, If they say to idolize their dictatorship's founder, you really have no choice but to listen.

No one can invade NK. The NK government only cares about power, they have no problem nuking anyone and everything to oblivion. The loss of life would be devastating. That's why no one has tried to do so since the 50'sif there was ever a country that needed some invading, it's North Korea
