All the stupid songs are 99 cents and the good ones are a dollar and 30. Whats up iTunes?

I agree it's pretty bad, and the excuse Apple used for this(if the songs are to go DRM-free, there needs to be a catch) is even worse.
[QUOTE="ChrisSpartan117"]there isnt a catch. you can even use songs you buy on iTunes in windows media player and zune player now That's why they're DRM free. Why not just buy CDs?I agree it's pretty bad, and the excuse Apple used for this(if the songs are to go DRM-free, there needs to be a catch) is even worse.

I got two words: Cash. Cow.
This is why you either buy your music on Amazon.com or even buy it at a record store :P

I just bought an album that was only $9.99 and it had 14 songs.[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"][QUOTE="FUBAR24"]there isnt a catch. you can even use songs you buy on iTunes in windows media player and zune player nowChrisSpartan117
There are other places to buy the music instead of itunes. I've only bought a few things there and only because I couldn't find it anywhere else.
I always thought singles were 1.29... :?[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]More reason to just buy CDs >_>scorch-62Like that would ever happen.

As do I and several other people :P[QUOTE="scorch-62"][QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]More reason to just buy CDs >_>chessmaster1989Like that would ever happen....I still buy CDs... :?Congratulations. You're better than 90% of everyone in society. People these days are too lazy to run to Best Buy, Hot Topic, Walmart, Target, [generic music store here], etc. these days. They'd rather sit at home, type in their credit card number and buy things the easy way. I will laugh at every single one of those people when their hard drives screw up and they lose everything.
For the record, I either buy a CD or a friend is kind enough to offer me a burnt copy.

Exactly. Try looking for bands that you like entire albums by :). Sure, we all have at least some bands that we only have one or two songs by, but I for one try to get entire albums.

As do I and several other people :Pusually if i download a discography of a band and i like them ill buy their CDs. its how i ended up with the complete collections for Senses Fail, Silverstein, and A Day To Remember. like 10 CDs total all because i liked them enough to support them lolHey now. Sometimes I only like one song per album by a band. I'm NOT paying for the entire album if it's not worth it. Though I do prefer CD's for the bands I do like.Congratulations. Point is, you're still buying the CD, whereas most of modern society is not.[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"][QUOTE="scorch-62"]Congratulations. You're better than 90% of everyone in society. [QUOTE="scorch-62"][QUOTE="FUBAR24"]because why spend 14 bucks on a CD if you only like 2 songs.FUBAR24This is why we listen to the album several times.listening to an album over and over wont make everyone like the entire album. No, but there's a possibility that if you give the ENTIRE album a chance there are bound to be more songs you like. Take Muse's "Black Holes and Revelations" for example. I'm sure that the only songs any random person you pick on the street would be familiar with are "Assassin" and "Knights of Cydonia". Why? Guitar Hero. Does the fact that people probably only know those two songs make it a bad album? Far from it.
edit - On second thought, I realize that random people may also be familiar with "Supermassive Black Hole" because of Twilight. I refuse to associate my favorite band with vampire romance trash.
