I've never seen anyone clap a movie, if it's at the Premiere then yes, but in a normal cinema...why? Not like the creators of the movie are there, you're clapping at nobody

It doesn't hurt anybody by clapping, unless you have extremely sensitive ears.

It just might be the greatest animated CGI movie, but there's a few films that I love greater than any other movies in existence, and I doubt my love for Toy Story can trump that. Not to say I'm not super excited for this movie though. 100% for all three movies on RT is honestly an incredible achievement for a animated movie aimed at kids.

Well where the theatre that I go to, people clapped at the end for Karate Kid. I never seen such an intense line for Imax like I did for Toy Story 3. I felt like it was midnight release for a new Star Wars movie in Imax 3d or something. It was ridiculous.

Wow, really? No its not. Can you explain why ADULT critics gave it 90%+ reviews?

The Hurt Locker was a good film. Possibly even a great film. But it didn't deserve Best Picture. Nor did Avatar however. I hope TS3 gets it for Best Animated though. It deserves it.

When I was at the theater to see Toy Story 3 there was probably only one kid under the age of 18 there.

Well this is a whole different generation that grew up on Toy Story. We're all a little older now (18-21ish) so I anticipate a lot of young adults with be seeing this. That coupled with the current generation of young kids that will probably go ape **** over this movie, will probably make this Pixar's highest grossing film.

That movie was so dark it was creepy. It balanaced the line between atracting kids and still getting kids my age (like 18+) to see a movie they grew up with. It's the best movie I've seen since UP (wow really?!!?) and it's probably better than that. It has a special place in my heart and is probably one of the best movies I've seen ever.

I loved Toy Story 3. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen. That's saying alot because I am an avid movie goer. Pixar has done the impossible, create a threequel which isn't terrible, and on top of that create an immensely satisfying story with lovable characters and emotions so deep you will cry your heart out.

Hollywood needs to take note on how Pixar does it's movies. Pixar should run hollywood. :D

If you're going to think of it as one of the best, you can at least compare it to something much greater than Slumdog Millionare and The Hurt Locker.

I haven't seen it yet but I really doubt it. I enjoyed the first two films but I didn't adore them like many do. Maybe it's because I didn't grow up with them. The animated movies I grew up with are films like Watership down. I am interested in Toy Story 3 though I wish pixar would apply their great animation to a more adult story. Not saying their films are that kiddy, but I think they could do wonders if they had a more mature storyline that isn't basically for kids.

I dont see how this post gets the TS haters. But ok I will destroy your retort. TS is an animated film it doesnt market itself as realistic. Hurt Locker did market itself as realistic when it clearly wasnt. That is an important point that should be made about hurt locker. Go back to being a downer

I'm really looking forward to it, but I doubt that it could be the best movie ever. Hell, I'm skeptical that it could be the best Pixar movie. I'll just have to wait and see. As for your OP though, I'd like to know how The Hurt Locker "sucked immensely".
