Is it unsafe for women on the internet?

Everyone is harassed on the internet, it isn't just women. For example: Go back to tumblr OP. Everyone hates you and we're all sick of this feminist bullshit.

Depends on what segment/community you're in. I personally haven't been harassed or anything of the sort, but of course some others have been.

Should Feminism still be a thing, is it needed anymore?

I'm not sure Feminism is relevant in Western Society because, while it helped women gain equal rights to men in our countries, those rights are now standard. Women now can choose careers and motherhood without condemnation from the business world and society. Women now get equal education and business opportunities as men and even run some of our country's top businesses. While feminism was needed many decades ago, its goal has been accomplished.

Looking at evidence is always important. I like AEI because they don't assume, they check, then they analyse and propose a conclusion.

But I think the internet is somewhat of a toxic environment, something that catalyses radicalization of speech. And this should be worrysome for everyone. Especially because the internet is not a sentient being... the issue is how we face each other and public debates on this environment.
